Meet Mary Angelo:
I grew up in the small town of Northern Cambria, PA. I attended Saint Francis University, majoring in Communications. After receiving my Bachelor of Arts in Communications, I went on to receive my Masters of Human Resource Management. I worked for five years in the field of Business Management, Communications, and Marketing before returning to school to fulfill my passion for teaching children. I began my journey in education by spending 14 weeks as a student teacher in grades Kindergarten and Second at Cambria Heights Elementary School. I then worked as a Summer Adventures Coordinator and Teacher at Hope's Villa Children's Center. Currently, I am an elementary librarian, teaching grades K-5 at Cambria Heights Elementary School. In addition, I am the Gifted Coordinator for the elementary school. I am certified to teach Early Childhood/Elementary Education PK-4, Library Science PK-12, and English Language Arts 7-12. I plan to sit for certification in Business, Computer and Information Technology K-12 as well as Speech Communication 7-12 in the future. The three degrees I pursued, the certifications I am obtaining, and my experience, perfectly portray my passions and my drive to reach these passions. |
